Major "Rainbow Jersey" Victories

The “JINX of the Rainbow Jersey” is a significant part of cycling history.  Rider demise during the year after winning the prestigious jersey are numerous.  But while watching the early Tour de France successes of Cadel Evans in the Rainbow Jersey, it occurred to me that jinx of the World Champion’s Rainbow Jersey may be broken.  Interestingly there is a list of previous wearers of the RJ who scored Major victories:
